UET Lahore Seeks Media Consultant for Dynamic Digital Outreach Role
Lahore, Punjab – The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, a premier institution of higher learning, has announced an exciting opportunity for a media professional. The university requires the services of a Media Consultant on a short-term contract basis under Section 46 of the PPRA Rules 2014 (Amended). This role is central to enhancing the university’s digital presence and managing its comprehensive media strategy.
About the Role
The selected Media Consultant will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing UET Lahore’s media and communications strategy. The position is designed for a creative and strategic individual who can manage both traditional and digital media platforms to boost student engagement and program visibility.
Key Responsibilities & Functions
The consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following functions:
- Handling physical and online admission queries across all communication platforms.
- Managing digital media activities, including the production of vlogs, videos, podcasts, and webinars.
- Developing and curating content for the University’s Prospectus and supporting its overall design and preparation.
- Preparing audio-visual content for the university’s admission campaigns.
- Creating, scheduling, and posting content on official social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Supporting the overall digital outreach strategy to improve student engagement and program visibility.
- Producing and directing content for the official UET YouTube channel.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Qualification: M.Phil degree in Communication Studies, Media Studies, or Mass Communication.
- Experience: Proven professional experience in:
- Managing media information.
- Supervising social media platforms.
- Content and script writing.
- Working in TV Channels.
